Fuzzy logic is a modeling concept that has been used to handle the concept of partial truth (i.e. situations where the actual truth lies between "completely true" and "completely false".) In simulations, Fuzzy Logic is best used when actions or decisions are probabilistic or based upon imperfect information. Small-scale military simulations where individual decision-making is inconsistent is an area where Fuzzy Logic excels.
